A film that draws on evidence from patients, clinicians and research to counter common misconceptions about Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
This film was created and developed by Dr Caoimhe McLoughlin and Professor Jon Stone from the FND research group at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences in Edinburgh, UK and Anna Ross from Grasshopper Kreativ in Tubingen, Germany. We are so grateful to the people with FND, Peter, Katerina and Louise, from Canada and the UK who took part.
FND has been a stigmatised and misunderstood condition for hundreds of years. In this film, we hear from the voices of people with FND, their experiences and some of the new science of FND that is changing the way we think about and treat the condition.
We are grateful to the ETUDE PhD programme funded by the EU with grant No. 956673, for making this film possible
We will be re-directing you to the University of Edinburgh’s donate page, which enable donations in a secure manner on our behalf. We use donations for keeping the site running and further FND research.
