The following patients have written their own stories for this website and have kindly agreed to let them appear here in the hope that it can help others. Their details have been anonymised and stories grouped by main symptom (seizure. movement disorder, limb weakness/pain).

In 2024 a book called ‘FND Stories’ co-edited by Gregg Rawlings, Markus Reuber, Maxanne McCormick and myself (Jon Stone) was published bringing together many more stories both from people with FND and health professionals involved in treating FND.
